Starting high school can be a bit scary especially when you're a freshman. The fear of not making friends or fitting it can be quite overwhelming. Luckily for these two, it hasn't been as scary because they have each other.
I was super excited when I found out Itzel was going to be going to the Homecoming dance with her best friend Carly. It gave me the excuse to pick up my camera and hopefully capture some precious moments. The girls got dressed, had their hair and make up done and had a quiet, fancy dinner with champagne (not really it was apple cider) and off we went to their photo shoot.
The girls had to get used to walking with their high heel shoes. They were so cute together walking holding each other's hands for support. We went to the White Tanks for their photo shoot. The sun was setting so the colors in the desert where gorgeous. The girls were glowing with happiness and excitement and they looked absolutely STUNNING.
The friendship these two have is very special. They are very goal driven and have set very high expectations for each other. They are able to manage a full load of honors classes, dance, POM and Soccer while still maintaining high grades. What I love most about these two is that they are not trying to fit a mold and be like everyone else. So far, they have stayed true to themselves. I hope they never changed!
The girls reported that Homecoming was a BLAST! I was blessed to hear about their adventures while eating ice cream after the dance.
