Imagine living on the other side of the world and knowing that your true love is so far away, but all you can do is think about each other. This is a true modern fairy tale.

Tee and Maddison met while doing missionary work in  the Salt Lake area. They both volunteered to go and help humanity and put their lives on hold for 24 months. While helping others, these two adorable and selfless young adults fell in love and started dating. Tee returned to New Zealand and Maddie came back home to Arizona.  They continued with their long distance relationship for many months. They used all the latest technology to keep in touch, but still missed each other tremendously. So they took turns visiting one another.

Tee finally decided to leave his home and take a chance for the girl he loved. He left his family, friends, job, country all to be with her and start a new life. After many long hours of traveling, he finally arrived and asked for her hand in marriage. Yes, he did it the good old fashion way and spoke with her father in person. After dad approved, he then asked Maddie to marry him and of course she said YES to her prince charming.

Maddie asked me to take pictures of their engagement. After a few minutes of meeting Tee, I could see why she was in love with him. The two where so adorable together. I could tell that they truly are friends.  They played around, were goofy at times and just seem to have fun together.  He had the biggest smile every time he embraced her and she had the widest most beautiful smile when she looked into his eyes.

She wanted to be surrounded by nature so I took them to a place I call paradise. It is green, has exotic birds, mountains and beautiful sunsets. I wanted him to see that even though we live in the desert, we still beautiful places.  My camera was able to capture some intimate moments between these two love birds.  Everything was absolutely perfect in every sense. It had been cloudy all day, but moments before the sun was supposed to set, the clouds cleared and sun came at that perfect moment. I truly believe it was all God's doing. These two have served God and humanity and thanks to that have found true love. I wish them nothing but happiness and eternal love.
